DESIGN NOTES

As I've learned more about game development, I've found that the way I've been playing video games all this time has an entire field dedicated to it - Quality Assurance Testing.

For the uninitiated, this means playing a game in a way that is intended to find unexpected or undefined behavior so they can be fixed before release. You might try to exploit game features in an unintended way to gain an advantage or break gameplay, and, naturally, these features will be fixed (no one likes bugs). But, occasionally, they are so interesting they might be intentionally integrated as a game feature. This is where my professional carrer in gaming industry has started!

As I've dived deeper into the ocean of gaming industry, I've learned that there is another field entirely dedicated to making those features - Game Design. Take a look at my blog below, made of both QA and GD elements, crafted into unique design notes...

SIMS 4 - Mods

This psychology simulator provides an endless source of creativity - from building your dream house to making your fellow sims have a very... dynamic life. Mods are something that this game allows, and that's where my creativity jumps in, putting all of MY art pieces on the walls! ;)
